Fun Find Friday-Pinterest Week 4

So many good pins this week. I have been perusing Pinterest more than usual this week because I have been stuck to my TV watching the Olympics with my laptop on my lap. Are you enjoying the Olympics as much as I am?

Anyways, here are my favorite pins from the week:

Adorable Flower and fabric covered canvas. This would be beautiful in a baby girl's nursery.
For Pleats Sake tote. I love pleats and the contrasting red is adorable. This is a full pattern and tutorial. YAY!
Sweet Sophia Dress. This is so simple and I like the large cummerbund/belt. I still can't get over how much I love yellow and grey together.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies. Doesn't the name just say it all? The cookie dough is egg free and these look so delicious.
Potty Training Tips Specialist. I am so in need of this, struggling with my soon to be 3 year old daughter who flat out refuses to use the potty. Trust me you don't want to know how much I loath potty training. I had trouble with my son as well. Hopefully this will give me some new tips.

Fun Find Friday- Pinterest Week 3

I am so excited about this week's Pinterest finds. There are so many great ideas out there to share. I love this bag on obaz.com. Then I found an easy hobo tutorial on flamingo toes and thought this would be the perfect pattern for the chevron bag.
These vases are colored using Elmer's glue and food coloring. I think the transparent color is fresh and new vs a solid paint job.
This family subway art is such a great idea. The first two dates are the married couple's birthdays, the teal date is their wedding date, and the last three are their kids birthdays.
These Nautical bracelets from A Blissful Dream are fantastic. The tutorial is very straight forward and I love the colors.
Happy Pinning Everyone!

Fun Find Friday-Pinterest Week 2

Yay Pinterest, thank you for all your inspiration! Here are some of my favorite pins for this week.

Melly Sews Summer Sundress Series is amazing! Girls dresses and women's dress all month long. This Cute As A Bug play dress by Family Ever After is adorable. I love the gathered bodice and neckline.
These DIY candles from The Space Between are fantastic because everything is recycled from previous supplies.
Here is a great tutorial on how to make ruffled pleats from You and Mie. These pleats are really popular right now and are beautifully showcased in this simple summer tunic.
This was pinned into my color inspiration board. I LOVE THIS COLOR COMBINATION. Not sure of the original site but man, isn't everything so beautiful. Sometimes I wish I could do my wedding all over again.
Yummy mini pumpkin and cheese spice bread loaves. I don't care what time of the year it is, pumpkin bread is good all year long in my book.

Have you seen any great pins lately? Please share below and happy pinning!

Fun Find Friday-Pinterest Week 1

Welcome to our first edition of PINTEREST fun find Friday. As most of your know I am obsessed with pinterest. I mean honestly I have over 3000 pins. If you aren't on yet please email me and I will send you an invite because everyone should use this online pin board to find great tips, crafts, recipes, pictures, whatever you want. I love that I can pin something I like and come back to it when I am ready. So much better than bookmarking sites or writing down ideas.

Here are a few of my favorite pins from this week:

Ombre Wooden Spoons
I love these. I think it would be fun to dye some wooden spoons as a wedding gift, for mother's day, or even a house warming present. It is so simple and everyone needs wooden spoons.

Dress Up Wings from Sew Nancy
I know my daughter would love to flutter around the house wearing a pair of these.

Pillowcase Romper:
This is a great remix on the classic romper. Perfect for summer especially in the 100 degree heat I think we will be having this year.

Nutella Banana Bread
The name says it all. 3 of my favorite things all baked into one yummy treat. Plus the picture looks delicious.

Ruffled Crib Skirt
This is adorable and I love the other decor. It is perfect for a room that you can't paint (like in a rental home like me!) Aren't the colors just amazing as well.

So many great pins, now I need to look at my list and decide what to make next. Have you found any pins you totally love lately?

Fun Find Fridays Week 1

Another one of our weekly posts will be Fun Finds. These are all great products from my favorite Etsy shops. I have really been interested in jewelry lately, trying some new crafting ideas.

The first shop I love is Black and White Jewels
These earrings are gorgeous. The shop specializes in wedding jewelry but I would wear these all the time.

The next shop is a specialty shop Divine Jewel.
This necklace is AMAZING! I love all the gem work. Any bride would be beautiful in this statement necklace.

For some every day wear I really love these bracelets from Infinity Wish
I am really into layering bracelets for summer and I love the mixed media of these pieces.

The last shop I would like to feature is a supply shop Bead FrenZ
Aren't these coral colored shell pearl beads gorgeous. I love chunky bead necklaces in the summer with maxi dresses on plain t-shirts.

Those are the shops I found this week. Hope you found something inspiring.

Fun Find Friday-Where's My Stache

This week's fun find is actually a fabric. I couldn't resist it is too cute. I found it on fabric worm and I LOVE IT!
My only regret is I only bought 1 yard because I saw it online and wasn't sure how true the picture would be, it is even better in person. I knew instantly I wanted to make a dress for Elizabeth out of it. I am going to have order some more for sure before it is gone. Here are my ideas for the fabric:

ZaraJanie and Jack

Pinterest findJ. Crew

Any favorites, I would love to have your opinion. If it is one from the stores I might even make a tutorial on it to share with all of you.

Fun Find Friday - Martha's Valentine's Day Cards

Each year I've sent valentines to our out of town relatives from my daughter.  I love that this year she is old enough to get really excited about making cards.  I've been looking for some fun ideas and stumbled across the February edition of Martha Stewart Living.  I then went to her website for more ideas.  Have you seen the collection of Valentine's Day cards Martha Stewart has online?  If you're looking for inspiration, with instructions, go to her Valentine Card-Making Center and spend hours deciding which cards you should make!  Here are some of my favorites:
Folded Cards
Chalkboard Photo Valentine Card
Crayon Stained Glass Heart Cards
Valentine's Day Sign Card
Pop-up Cards
I plan to spend an afternoon making fun cards with my daughter next week!

Fun Find Friday: Reindeer Cookies

Earlier this week I saw Bakergirl's Peanut Butter Reindeer Cookies and knew I needed to make some!  My daughter had so much fun helping with our reindeer!
The peanut butter cookies sounded yummy but I wanted to do something quick because my little three year old helper was in the kitchen with me.  I used cubed sugar cookie dough.
I tried to make each cookie into a reindeer shape before putting them in the oven.
The cookies came out perfect circles instead of cute little reindeer heads.  Once they were decorated it didn't matter because they were so cute!
Go see Bakergirl for more fun recipes!
