Ginger Top from VFT

This week I have been back to the sewing machine. After taking nearing a month long break I think my machine has been missing me. Okay maybe not, but I have sure been missing creating new projects with my machine. Lately I have been loving Violette Field Threads and their patterns. Their designs are just my style. Simple, sweet, with a girly flair. I whipped up the Ginger top last night in under 3 hours from start to finish. The pattern is so beautiful and easy to follow. Plus the pattern includes sizes 12m-10years old! I will be making this pattern many times over again. I also love that it includes the measurements for a dress or a top and two alternative designs. So many options! I can see myself playing around with it as well creating my own flair to their original design. I love how the dress is twirly and girly. She can wear it with a shirt underneath it or without the shirt for summer. A great design with many possibilities.

I also have another pattern from this company that I plan on making in the very near future.
