Whose kid is this excited about brushing their teeth?
Mine! We were recently selected by MommyParties to host a Winnie the Pooh themed Oral-B sponsored play date. We were sent lots of goodies to have a fun play date and learn about the importance of brushing our teeth. My daughter is now almost three years old and she has already been to the dentist a few times. But prior to her first birthday I remember realizing I had no clue when you should start brushing babies teeth and what products were safe to use. Oral-B has a great line of toothbrushes and toothpaste specific to age groups. We shared the products with our friends at the play date and I can honestly say we are impressed. Oral-B has products to start brushing as early as four months old.
Although we were focused on healthy teeth and good habits we did share some sweets with our friends too. My daughter was very excited to help get everything ready for the play date!
We set up a "snack station" on a toddler table so the kiddos could reach the snacks. We had "Pooh's Perfect Popcorn," "Tigger's Tasty Thin Mints," and juice boxes.I copied some images from Disney's Winnie the Pooh DVD site to make a couple of food labels for the little table.
We were sent a copy of the new Winnie the Pooh DVD to watch during the play date.
I set up a comfy seating area for the toddlers to watch the movie. Some of the kids had already seen the movie but for others, this was their first time. They were all very excited! The movie held most of their attention from start to finish.
You can't go wrong with popcorn and a movie!
We had fun learning with the Oral-B flashcards. Then the kids took turns teaching each other.
I made a thank you sticker for the take home bags. I used a Disney image and added text. The label was printed on adhesive paper and then trimmed to fit the bags. It added a cute personal touch.
Each guest went home with toothpaste, an age appropriate toothbrush, Disney Daily Renewal Naturals baby wash, coupons, and information about the products. Some of the moms were familiar with the Oral-B products and others with smaller children had not yet tried the brushes and toothpaste. The moms were very excited to see that they were receiving toothbrushes catering to the developmental stages and physical characteristics of their children.
Each night my daughter usually pinky swears she will brush her teeth tomorrow. Not tonight! She couldn't wait to use her new toothbrush and princess toothpaste! My favorite thing about our new toothbrush is the color coded spot that serves as a guide when applying toothpaste. Prior to this toothbrush my daughter always used too much toothpaste. Now she is excited to use just the perfect amount!
Please visit Oral-B and Daily Renewal Naturals to learn more about these great products!
Disclosure: I was provided with all the Oral-B products to host the party from Oral-B Stages III/Oral-B Crest Pro Health For Me and MommyParties. All opinions and experiences are my own.
