Kids Craft-Thanksgiving Turkey Hands

This week the kids made these adorable Turkey handprints. But this isn't the traditional turkey handprint. We started by tracing each of their hands on a paper plate. Then using Elmer's glue and a variety of colored dry beans we decorated the hands. Each finger is a different color of beans with a multi bean pack on the body portion of the turkey (of the palm and thumb of the hand). The kids did all the gluing themselves and stuck all the beans on themselves. Then we finished the turkeys off with a wiggly eye and a piece of pasta for the neck.

We used black beans, pinto, black-eyed peas, kidney beans, and a multi bean pack.
